AnimeJapan 2027 moves to INTEX Osaka for its first edition outside Tokyo. Official exhibition pages set business days for Friday, March 26, and Saturday, March 27, in Hall 1, and public days for Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28, in Halls 2–6 AB. Use March 26–28 as the trip window, then pick credentials by purpose. A public ticket does not unlock business-day deal-making, and Hall 1 is not the merch-and-stage circuit.
Who should cross for this
Anime fans, cosplayers, overseas buyers, licensing teams, and Pacific travelers who need the correct day type before buying tickets.
The first non-Tokyo AnimeJapan for travelers who can fly KIX and treat Nanko as the show district instead of defaulting to a Tokyo Big Sight muscle memory.
Suggested trip length: 3–4 nights for one business day and one public day, or two public days if you skip Hall 1

INTEX sits in Suminoe’s Nanko district. Cosmosquare-area hotels save the morning. If you stay in Umeda for dinners, accept the Cosmo Line commute and an earlier alarm.
Do not assume Tokyo Big Sight logistics
Prior AnimeJapan editions trained regulars on Ariake. Osaka changes the airport (KIX), the rail map, and the hall numbers. Recheck ticket lottery and stage rules on the 2027 site before you reuse a Tokyo packing list.
