KES 2026 (Korea Electronics Show)

Seoul · Oct 13–16, 2026 · ICN / GMP

Business & IndustryDates confirmedCOEX Halls A and B

KES 2026 runs Tuesday, October 13, through Friday, October 16, at COEX Halls A and B in Gangnam. The Korea Electronics Association organizes the show with hosting by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources. Official materials position a broad industry floor—AI transformation, robotics, mobility, digital health, XR, and electronic parts—aimed at professional visitors rather than a casual gadget festival. Hours are 10:00–17:00 from Tuesday to Thursday and 10:00–16:00 on Friday, with last entry thirty minutes before closing. Pre-registration, when available, is the practical way to avoid the KRW 20,000 on-site fee and opening-day queues.

Who should cross for this

Electronics and IT buyers, engineers, manufacturers, startups, distributors, researchers, investors, and media covering Korean tech.

KES is a direct look at Korean electronics supply chains and product roadmaps that North American buyers and partners routinely track across AI hardware, devices, and components.

Suggested trip length: 3–4 nights for two focused show days plus meetings

Build a theme route before you arrive

The published topic grid is wide enough that an unfocused day disappears quickly. Pick two or three lanes—perhaps on-device AI and semiconductors one morning, robotics or mobility the next—then leave gaps for meetings. Organizer scale figures (about 500 exhibitors / 1,100 booths and 70,000 visitors) are planning targets on the show-information page, not audited 2026 results. Use the live exhibitor search once it updates rather than last year’s memory of the halls.

Register under the right visitor type

KES distinguishes general visitor pre-registration from buyer registration with different visibility and matching expectations. Confirm whether your badge type matches the conversations you need. Children and purely casual sightseeing are a poor fit for a midweek electronics trade show; come with questions, business cards, and comfortable shoes for COEX’s long indoor walks.

Stay on the Line 2 corridor

Samseong Station keeps weather and traffic from deciding your morning. COEX’s published address is 513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06164. A three-night stay covers two intensive hall days and one buffer for jet lag or side meetings. If your calendar also includes Seoul Design Week, note that Design Week opens the day after KES ends—possible to combine only with a longer Seoul stay and careful energy management.
