Use the final 2026 program
The festival website still displays last year's S$15 general film ticket, S$20 special presentation, S$25 opening and S$10 conversation prices. Those figures are useful precedent but are not 2026 prices. The same caution applies to Golden Village cinemas, National Gallery Singapore, Oldham Theatre and Marina Bay Sands: each was used in 2025, and none is confirmed for the coming edition.
When sales open, check each listing for runtime, rating, subtitle language, Q&A, venue and refund terms. Popular films can sell out; the 2025 festival recorded 44 sold-out screenings.
Choose a base after the venue map
Bras Basah, Bugis and City Hall form the strongest provisional area because they sit near several cultural institutions and multiple MRT lines. Orchard or Somerset becomes attractive if Cineleisure returns, while Marina Bay works for major presentations and industry sessions. A remote venue can change the best choice, so avoid a non-refundable booking made solely around last year's map.
Singapore's trains and buses are wheelchair accessible, though the lift may be at a particular station entrance. Accessible seating, captions, hearing support and sensory conditions belong to each venue and screening; confirm them directly.
Follow the regional work beyond screenings
SGIFF Pro includes an Asian Producers Network and Industry Days for professional learning and connections. The separate SGIFF Film Fund is on temporary hiatus during a redesign, so no current grant call should be inferred. For a visiting film professional, the final Pro schedule and accreditation terms will determine whether a longer stay is worthwhile.
