Prepare for the early-2027 release

SPJA says credentials will go on sale in early 2027. Recent editions offered multi-day, single-day, child, industry, press, exhibitor, and Artist Alley credentials, but those products and past prices cannot be assumed. Some concerts, the Masquerade, Maid Café, and other limited-capacity events have historically needed a second ticket in addition to a badge. Read the 2027 benefit and refund terms before purchase.

Plan international pickup and lodging together

In 2026, badge shipping was limited to the United States and Canada; other international attendees used onsite pickup with confirmation and photo identification. Recheck that rule before choosing an arrival day. The official hotel block also tends to be limited and can include complimentary badge-holder shuttles from selected properties. A walkable South Park hotel is the simplest option for late programs, but only the future 2027 housing portal can establish official rates and partners.

Expect a large, changing campus

The sold-out 2026 edition reported more than 422,000 turnstile entries from over 65 countries and spread into surrounding venues. That establishes scale, although it does not confirm the 2027 footprint. July 4 falls during the convention, and LACC construction keeps part of Pico Boulevard closed. Use the A or E line to Pico Station, request accessibility support early, and wait for the 2027 map before planning back-to-back sessions in different buildings.
