Adventure & EnduranceDates confirmedBEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 start (부산 벡스코 제1전시장), Haeundae

The Busan Bridge Marathon runs Sunday, December 6, 2026, from BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Haeundae, with a full marathon (42.195 kilometers) and a 10K road race. Busan Metropolitan City, local broadcaster KNN, and the Korea Association of Athletics Federations host; KNN and the Busan athletics federation run the day. The draw is the bridges—Gwangan, Busan Port, and Namhang—on a course you cannot normally run. It is not the November newspaper race at Dadaepo, even though both Korean titles lean on 국제마라톤. KorMarathon lists Bridge as a rebrand of an earlier city-backed Busan International Marathon name for this December event.

Who should cross for this

Bib holders, family and friends watching in Haeundae, and runners planning for a future Busan race weekend.

A rare chance to run across Busan’s big sea bridges, which makes it a draw for road-race travelers from Japan, North America, and elsewhere, but only if you registered months ahead.

Suggested trip length: 2–3 nights, arriving Friday for bib pickup and BEXCO orientation

Registration closed, and fast

The first window opened August 24 at 10 a.m. and filled quickly, according to Korean running calendars. A second window for cancelled spots closed October 30. That makes this a page for people already in, not for anyone hoping for a late bib.

If you want to run next time, set a reminder for late summer and check the organizers’ site first. Full-marathon runners have also been asked to show an official finish under 4:30 within the past three years.

Race-morning logistics

Secondary calendars that say they matched the organizer site put the full start at 07:30 and the 10K at 08:00, with a five-hour full cutoff and about 90 minutes for the 10K. The official homepage we checked lists the assembly hall but not the gun times—confirm both starts in your bib packet.

December dawn at BEXCO is cold. Secondary guides say gear check and changing rooms operate at the Hall 1 assembly; valuables are usually excluded from bag drop. Full runners needed a sub-4:30 official finish within three years to enter, which is a qualification rule, not the race-day cutoff.

Spectating from Haeundae

Bridges are hard places to watch from, and closures can make crossing the city difficult. Pick one spot near BEXCO or the beach and plan to meet your runner after the finish.

Avoid driving. Take Line 2, stay near Centum City, and leave extra time for post-race crowds at BEXCO Station.
